Summary of discussion:
The committee have identified a number of improvements that are in progress supported by funding from Llangybi community council and/or residents association funds. Village planters, painting of village library, footpaths improvement.
The latest financial position was reviewed. No change since the last meeting.
The village survey feedback was reviewed. We had a number of verbal and written responses. The top 3 requested activities were:
- Community litter pick
- Annual village summer fair (games, BBQ, competitions etc.)
- Annual village dinner (e.g., Christmas)
Christmas Meal: The Village Xmas meal is booked at the pub on 17/12/25. Information to be shared via Google Groups and Notice Board
No planning applications had been received. No further information available about changes at the Reservoir.
Roads and potholes: Phil gave an update, and highlighted that FOI requests now needed to be sent to individual Mon CC departments, meaning that the information received was not as helpful as it had been previously.
As a reminder, villagers experiencing damage to their vehicles are eligible for compensation IF the offending pot-hole has previously been reported. We therefore encourage everyone to report potholes to Mon CC.
