Thank you to everyone who made our Carol Service so special !!

Christchurch has been very quiet since our Harvest Service, but was filled with great excitement and joy on Christmas Eve.
Our annual Carol Service which always starts the Village Christmas was a truly memorable event.
It was a real treat to see Christchurch full with some people standing at the back .
We enjoyed a beautiful musical interlude with Elliot and Sue playing their cellos.
Jake read a lovely poem written by his mother Kirsty about what it’s like to live in Coed-y-Paen  . Our friends and neighbours read those comforting and familiar Christmas verses and we all sang Carols including one written by our very own Carol Orchard !!
This special warm and friendly Service was lead by Rev. Bill Savage, who was wonderful, entering into the Spirit of our village Christmas with reverence, love and humour.
We are grateful to everyone who took part, those who decorated the Church and helped in so many other ways to make this Christmas time so special. Thank you all for giving so generously to the collection which was just over £300.
Wishing everyone a very Happy , Healthy and Peaceful 2024 .
